Night is the defining mechanic that separates Grow a Garden 2 from the original. When the sun sets, other players can enter your garden and steal unharvested crops. The safe rule is to sell or store your valuable fruit before dusk; what is left out is fair game. Defense pets like Bee, Black Dragon and Ice Serpent, defensive gear, and private servers are how you protect a high-value plot. See the base defense guide.
